The Wedding in the Storm
Congratulations to the incredible Mr and Mrs Foy. The spirit, the decorations and the all day joyfulness throughout this wedding were mind blowing. Upon first meeting Sam and Ant, I knew we clicked and would be in for a laugh filled big day. My jaw dropped at the endless decorations Sam had created and how thoughtfully she had planned out every aspect of their day.
We started the photography with preparations at Sam’s parents home. It was full of bustle and rushing and laughter, and through it all, Sam remained perfectly calm and content in allowing the day to finally unfold. With the ceremony and reception only being a short distance away, all remained calm and happy. In preparation for the weather forecast being far from perfect, Sam and Ant had decorated a beautiful Teepee style tent for the blessing, it couldn’t have looked more romantic.
After an afternoon filled with love, tears, laughs and hugs, we took some time for Sam and Ant to capture some more personal moments. An aptly decorated tractor and link box arrived to take the happy couple to the beautiful gardens of the local Rectory cottage. Wandering throughout the large lawns and low hanging Willow tree, laid out the most romantic and private setting for their images. We were given moments of golden evening sun and enjoyed the peace within it all.
The celebrations continued quite happily while we were away and gave way to even more fun filled moments and images. Despite the weather predicting wind and rain, the odd downpours we had actually added to the fun of the day. It was an incredible wedding to be part of and photograph and I hope you enjoy their sneak peak images.
